O’hare airport hotels 18 year old

Looking for advice my child is travelling through O’Hare airport next week, needs to stay the night somewhere. They are 18.

Illinois state law says you have to be 21 to check into a hotel

They need to check in at 6am so need to stay close to the airport.

Does anyone have any idea what we can do?

I’ve phoned a load of hotels with shuttles and none of them will take them. I am really reluctant for them to spend the night in an airport because of covid and safety. Really reluctant for them to go a long way from the import because of the early start. Thanks

3pm! It’s the 6am check in that’s stressing me typical teen has to be dragged out of bed and will be massively jot lagged (although that may work in my favour!
