Antigua in October Half Term

Hi all,

Dh and I bit the bullet last night and booked flights for ourselves, and our adult children to go away for a week to Antigua. I’m a teacher so stuck by school holidays unfortunately, as is my dd. Dh and ds are toying with the idea of staying another week and going to another island.

Has anyone done Antigua at half term in October? weather looks a bit iffy. Where did you stay?

We don’t mind self catering, b&b, and would even consider an AI if not extortionate.

Kinda having a wobbly after spending £800 each on flights Confused

I haven’t been in October - it’s rainy season and there’s a risk of hurricanes as I’m sure you probably know but I think most likely it’ll be occasional showers and some overcast days. Hopefully someone else will come along who has been in October but my guess is you’ll still get plenty of sunshine in October.

I stayed at the Inn at English Harbour - its only small though so might not have much availability. I really liked the area around the hotel. It’s adults only too.

Weather’s usually nice. Expensive.
I’d think Cyprus.

You might want to look at a villa rental in Jolly Harbour?
