Flying through Manchester Airport

Hi,

Does anyone have any recent experiences of flying through Manchester Airport?

Are to queues at passport control any worse than normal? Dreading getting off a long flight with a small child then having to stand in a long queue

We flew from Manchester airport last Saturday it was almost empty. Very very weird. About 4 people ahead of us in the security queue. Maybe a dozen passengers in the entire check in area. Airside was a little busier but still hardly anyone there compared to usual. Loads of seats and tables available to sit down etc.
If you are worried though you can go on the Manchester airport website and buy passes for the fast track passport queue for about £5 each.

I didn’t realise the fast track things were available again! For the sake of £5 each for peace of mind that we won’t be in a queue for hours it’s worth it

Arrived back in Manchester Airport on Monday afternoon at about 3.20 - it was quiet and we passed through passport control quickly.

Flew into Manchester Airport two weeks ago and it was blissfully quiet. Terminal two is gleaming!
