Christmas holiday with dog within 3 hours of Calais - with beach.

We have a channel tunnel ticket to use or lose.

We thought we would go over Christmas as our work is quiet then and it's something different.

We will be taking our Lab as a pet passport is cheaper than our dog border (Plus she would rather be with us)

We are unsure whether to go north or south of Calais.

Any recommendations?

One recommendation we have is Le Touquet - apparently, there are Christmas markets still going on right up to Xmas eve.

Belgian coast with a trip to Bruges? De Haan is lovely and the Xmas markets will be on over Xmas.

There was something on the radio yesterday about the new version of pet passports costing £250 plus consultation charge from the vet. They've gone up recently apparently.
