Poland - another testing thread

Right, my holiday isn't until December so no doubt it will all be totally different by then, but trying to get my head around the current situation.

From my reading, to travel to Poland for a 3 night trip I don't need anything for going over there, except my vaccine 'passport' as I'm double jabbed. I need to fill in a passenger locator form (why, when we have a passport I have no idea). No quarantine.

Coming home, I need to take a test within 48hours of flying home (so if I fly there Friday, coming back Monday, I need to take the test Saturday afternoon or later?) Can this be an LFT or does it need to be a PCR? I then need to book and do a day 2 test after returning to the UK but I don't need to quarantine at all?

Does that sound right to anyone who has been to Poland recently?

I like to think I'm an intelligent person but this stuff has got me right in a tizz.

Thank you!!
