Returning to the UK from Spain - confused about forms

Managed to get DD to the Balearics to visit family - she is there now.

She is 16 and currently unvaccinted. She has found a place to have her LFT to return and I have ordered her Day 2 test kit which has arrived here in the UK.

I can't for the life of me find where to register the Day 2 test to generate the QR code that she needs to travel home.

I have filled in the Passenger Locator Form but that seems to simply ask for name/address/contact details. Not even dates of travel never mind anything else? I've clicked through the form several times but it appears to be very basic information. I had thought this was where I entered the code on the day 2 test and now I am stumped.

Anyone? Slightly stressing....

Thank you!

It is the passenger locator form. Maybe you're looking at the account registration rather than the form itself? I skipped that bit and logged on as a guest. It asks you for the code as well as other information.

Maybe start over with a new form?

Yes, it does sound like maybe it's the registration bit - duh. Will try that, thank you.

Did you not have to enter this code when you filled in the plf for her to get to Spain? Sorry if obvious but I was under the impression you needed the codes to fill out the form to get there too

Blankscreen · 20/08/2021 15:40

When we did it last week the test provider should sent the code to put on the PLF.

Actually I think this is to do with her age. Did this for DS who is 11 but then for DSS who is 17 it automatically asked for his info.

The test provider should send you a PDF which you show at check in.

We recently came back from Spain, had to put the code for our day 2 tests on the PLF so it's definitely on there. On the way home no one asked in Spain or in the UK about our LFT's only to see the PLF's.

whatagloriousthingtobe · 20/08/2021 16:20

@Tal45 can I ask about the codes, are they the ones actually inside each individual box on the sticker or the booking reference for each test you receive when you get your confirmation email once ordered ?

Therehavetobeadjustments · 20/08/2021 16:22

I thought you had to take a PCR whilst you were out there, is a LFT suffice then?

SnotandBothered · 20/08/2021 16:24

@Therehavetobeadjustments

The government advised PCR but it's not mandatory. BA are still accepting a LF provided its done at a proper pharmacy clinic and meta certain standards.

DD is 16 and had Covid five weeks ago. It's a nonsense that she has to test at all.
