Flying with a 2 year old

Any tips please to make it easier for me and my toddler - have two flights one over 6 hrs the other one is shorter?
Have a new book for her, will bring a toy or two, some snacks, a blanket... is that it?
Calpol just in case too.

Water bottle to decant drinks into.
Spare top for each of you (see above!)
Pull up nappy if trained, as if you get stuck in your seat through turbulence and they need to go ....
Will they watch screens?? Childsized headphones and universal adapter set to get them going on the seat back entertainment if that will be present on the longer flight.
Oodles of patience. 1.5-4 is about the hardest to travel with, imo

I wrapped up some daft little presents for when boredom struck. Part of the fun was unwrapping. Sticker book, colouring, toy plane, puzzle ... only cheap ones. This kept him occupied for about half an hour each gift! Interspersed with Peppa Pig and food!

You can get crayons that are triangular shapes so they don't roll as easily.

Peppa pig saved my life. I brought dds 13mo and not quite 3 back from Oz with me. I put lots of CD’s on of Peppa. Snacks, colouring in, movie on flight.
