Best airline for Spain with covid policy?

I’ve paid a deposit for a camping holiday in Spain, for August 2022. It will be the first time in years that I’ll be taking the kids out of England and I’m a bit nervous about the whole thing re covid. I’ve used the camping company before and I’m happy with their policies but I don’t want to make a mistake with the airline.

It’s still a little early to book flights but I’d like to do them as soon as the dates become available. For those of you who have travelled this year (or had flights booked and then postponed or cancelled) what have your experiences been with different airlines and their policies concerning covid? I won’t touch Ryan air with a barge pole (learnt that lesson!) but I don’t have experience with anyone else except easyJet and that was pre covid.

Does anyone have any advice or can share their experiences?

FYI I am prepared that the whole thing could fall apart if we can’t crawl out of this Covid hole next year but I’d like to know I’ve done everything I can to make the trip happen!

easyJet hands down, they have been amazing. I moved my flight about 5 times last year, all done via the app at minimal cost. My flights this Easter were cancelled due to covid, again via the app I had a full refund within a week. Flights this summer, again I've had to move them around, all done easily on their app for little cost. Just watch out as their hand luggage allowance changed this year to smaller.

Thank you Annexlife. I was hoping to fly in to Girona (unfortunately not an easyJet flight path, I think) although Barcelona is only a 2 hour bus ride away which I’ve done before. It’s good to hear that easyJet have done well, I’ve never had a bad flight with them and am definitely happy to go via Barcelona.
