Any experience of completing PLF when returning from overseas?
mineofuselessinformation · 04/08/2021 19:13
Just that really.
It was a complete nightmare finding the right website for my outbound journey!
EileenGC · 04/08/2021 20:27
Plenty of experience here, 7 flights in the last 4 weeks, and counting
It is a nightmare filling them all out, but I’m not sure what the problem was from your OP? Was it to do with the country of destination or you mean the PLF to come into the UK?
Let me know if I can help somehow!

Yes, @EileenGC, the form to return to the UK after being overseas (Malta in my case).
It was a whole series of hoops to jump through to do the one for Malta.
I'm just wondering how bad the one for return is!
mineofuselessinformation · 04/08/2021 21:51
Sorry, that was a bit rude of me @EileenGC .
Thank you for your reply!

Agree. His many times do I have to insert I’ve been to Spain, my address in uk and when flying into uk! I had to do it 3 times I think.

It's not bad, it's just time consuming. And if you're travelling as a family, even though you can add kids to your own form, your DP will need their own form so you repeat everything

mineofuselessinformation · 04/08/2021 22:08
@MaggieFS, no DP (although I am hoping to meet a Maltese millionaire! )
I've already factored in that two days before I leave I'll need to do some admin.
EileenGC · 04/08/2021 22:19
Yes, the UK form takes some time. But the good thing is that you don’t have to do it all in one go, you can save and go back as needed.
Book your testing package first, if you need one. Start filling the form in, save it to your email address and then you can add the seat number once you have it (or skip this if you already know it!). Good luck!
mineofuselessinformation · 04/08/2021 22:28
Ive got a test for my return, and have a pre-booked seat, so that's a start at least,
Thank you for your help!
EasterIssland · 04/08/2021 22:34
I don’t have a seat yet as my airline needed the form to be done and submitted so had to skip it. I’ve an underage who doesn’t need tests or proof of vaccine so they won’t neither check him in so it’s a bit of catch 24. Need to check in on the airport and get the seat space there. Hope no problems.
mineofuselessinformation · 04/08/2021 22:56
Thank you @EasterIssland, this holiday is much longed-for and needed!
EasterIssland · 04/08/2021 23:16
Enjoy it!!
Im flying back to uk after spending some time with my family who I hadn’t seen for a long time. The most stressful day was yesterday between tests and forms !
