Very child friendly

Hmmm can you tell I'm useless at this!!! Preferably abroad, have just come into some money so budget doesnt really matter but dont want to go mad with it, they are only 3 and 1 not going to notice all the little extras you can pay £££££££s for! I just want to get away and dont want them to get bored, my grand mother may be coming with me so childcare vital although may be nice if we want to have a bit of peace...... oh god I am useless at this arent I

For a bit of winter sun then how about a child friendly hotel somewhere like Lanzarote?

Some great deals on teletext holidays and Protland Direct at the moment - have a look online and see what they come up with. You can choose 'family holiday' as an option and it will give you some suggestions.

Oooh I meant not vital in my last post oops! thanks I will have a little look now....

What about a kinderhotel in Austria? I am thinking of going next summer. I think it is WWW.Kinderhotels.co.uk

Think I am more confused now would going to a travel agent be much more expensive??

We always book direct now - we only ever self cater as I hate being confined to a tiny hotel room with sleeing children. We find a villa and book it direct with the owners, then find flights and book a car. Usually cheaper and we can tailor make it so we get everything we want.

I think it depends if you want to do a wintery holiday or get somewhere with the possibility of some sun like Spain.

I would love to take my kids to Germany or Austria at Xmas time and go to Xmas markets and take them on a sleigh ride, go ice skating etc.

We are going to Spain this Xmas, my Mum lives there but I do recommend the First Choice Holiday Village at Benalmedena as in your situation it is so easy as there are activities and childcare you can use if you want. Locally there is a lovely fun park called Tivoli which has rides galore for kdis your age, a cable car and a zoo and beaches nearby and city stuff to do in Malaga.

Another dream holiday for me would be going to FCHV in Dominican Republic, it looks great!

The fc holiday village is a great suggestion, but the Costa Del Sol one is actually only available March to October.

You would be better with the Lanzarote one, or the Egypt one as both of them get fabulous weather over the winter. They have such great entertainment for the kiddies and have a great creche too. Happy kiddies make happy mummies!

I've been to a few of the holiday villages so happy to answer any questions you might have.
