A while ago I booked some BA flights to Greece through Expedia which were supposed to be fully flexible without any fees. Of course they weren’t refundable but the fee T&Cs at the time of booking were that they could be cancelled free of charge in exchange for a credit for future BA flights (I.e. exactly the same as if I had booked direct with BA and I was happy with this),
My booking confirmation came through, I checked the T&Cs on the email link at the time and checked it was all as I understood.
I have since come to cancel the flights as the EU has changed the area we were going to to dark red so assume that the U.K. government might change the status too to Amber plus.
When I first clicked on the email link at booking it said they could be cancelled for free in return for a credit. When I checked again as I was thinking about cancelling it said they were non refundable. I then checked again and it said there was a £65 per person fee for cancelling and getting a credit or changing it and then when I finally get through to them it’s a £100 per person fee (but this isn’t on the linked T&Cs).
Surely they can’t keep changing the T&Cs? My main problem is that I don’t have a copy of the ones in place at the time I booked as I thought the link on the email would always point me to the ones at the date I entered into a contract with them.
Anyone else had this problem or what can I do to get proof of the T&Cs at the time of booking?
