Where would you stay for a city break?

We aren't UK based.

From what I can remember, I would go for Museum Plein if I was to go back. It’s a nice area, obviously near the Museums and also near a lovely park. It’s not as much on the canals as some areas but it seemed less chaotic and busy - not seedy either.

It depends what you want, ie quiet, busy egg Jordaan is my favourite part of Amsterdam.

It is very easy to walk round Amsterdam and into the different areas, Jordaan is quieter and less manic to stay in, the restaurants are great and there is no tourist tat.
