Just been informed no entertainment

Holiday all booked and today (a week before we go ) we had an email saying no entertainment at hotel . I know people that are already out in Cyprus 1 already at the hotel who confirmed the email and people in sister hotels who said all entertainment still on . We have 3 kids and booked all inclusive so we wouldn’t have to really leave the hotel with food and entertainment included . Now nothing for the kids to do at night . Jet2 was closed when I got the email so going to phone tomorrow . Do I just accept it or try and get hotel moved to one with entertainment . Aibu about this ? 😀

I think the entertainment in those places is good at first but kids soon tire of it. You should bring plenty of games and let them play....they can run around and stay up late. They'll be happy anyway.

If entertainment is essential to you, I would move to a different hotel. How old are the kids? I only ask because if they are over 12 and not vaccinated, they will have to do a rapid test every 72 hours in order to be able to visit anything outside the hotel-restaurants,cafes,supermarkets, water parks,malls, Luna parks etc.

If entertainment is important to you I would try and move hotels. It may be worth asking anyway then look them up and see what you prefer.

If there are things on in the day like pool / waterpark I guess you could just start earlier and then they may not need evening entertainment though both mine loved it when they were younger. Its also part of what you paid for.

Mine are 5,10 and 11 . My 5 and 10 year olds would be the ones joining in with entertainment stuff my 11 year olds wouldn’t be bothered

I’d try and move hotels, I like the evening shows and other entertainment offered.
