Tui testing package

Hi, has anyone had a recent Tui holiday and paid for the testing package? If so how did it all work in terms of getting the tests and returning them? Was it straight forward?

Yes we got the chronomics green package.

Packed the test to return kits in our luggage and did them in the hotel room yesterday. Got certificates emailed to us within minutes.

Day 2 tests should be waiting for us when we get home tomorrow. We can post them off or drop to TUI store.

All very straightforward and cheap @ £20 pp

Thank you, how long did the lateral flow take to arrive after ordering? I'm probably not booking until a week-10 days before travel date.
Do you sign up for a Chronomics account?

I ordered the test package about 10 days before departure. The lateral flows arrived within about 4 days. The PCRs are sent while you're away and should be there when you get back.

I did register with chronomics via the link on the TUI website. You need your TUI booking ref to register.

Yes you can post the PCR test or drop off to a TUI store. I feel there's no rush to get the day 2 PCR result as there's no need to quarantine if double jabbed/under 18 which we are.

I was absolutely panicked that ours wouldn't arrive in time after seeing loads of complaints about Chronomics on social media. We ordered them a few weeks back. We needed to do them today and they arrived on Saturday, so plenty of time. Thankfully they were negative!

I’m getting a bit worried about ours - my DC needs a pre departure test and we fly next Tuesday so it will have to be done on Sunday really. My order said the estimated dispatch was 24 July but that I’d get an email when they were dispatched and still nothing - no email and no delivery of tests. It’s making me nervous. Do they leave it really late to send them?

With the lateral flow test for the return flight to the UK, do you do a video call or upload photo of the test to get the certificates? Thanks!

@Dontrainonmyparade I didn't get an email saying my tests had been despatched, only a message from DPD on the day they were going to be delivered.

We're back now and I've had an email saying our day 2 PCRs will be delivered tomorrow.

@Hazeyday with the lateral flows you just do them, send a photo and they email you the certificate. It's very easy with step by step instructions on their website.

I think my main concern of if the lateral flow is inconclusive, then what happens? Assume you have to then find a local testing site and pay?
