Majorca hotel recommendations

Planning a trip to Majorca (2 kids, toddler+primary school age). Any recommendations for hotels? Would like something close to beach and preferably not too far from shops/center.

Seaclub Alcudia would be my no. 1 recommendation, but also look at Viva Cala Mesquida

We really liked Club Mac but it was a fair few years ago that we went.
