Has anybody ever stayed near bovisand, Plymouth and could recommend things to do with a 1 year olds? Any places you'd recommend to visit? :)

National Marine Aquarium. The whole place is accessible with a pushchair and there are lifts between floors. The cafe on the first floor has great views of the marina, as well as high chairs and soft play. Combine the trip with a stroll along the Plymouth Waterfront Walkway
Take the sea tractor to Burgh Island
Plymouth miniature steam is cute, but it only runs on two Sundays a month. Sometimes extra days in high season.
The South Devon Railway is a nice little trip and you can turn it into a whole day out with a combination ticket which gives you admission into two further attractions that the train ferries you between: Totnes Rare Breeds farm and Buckfast Otters and Buckfast Butterflies.

Royal William Yard has lots of restaurants and is close to Devil’s Point for lovely sea views. Close by you can get the Cremyll foot ferry over to Mount Edgcumbe on the Cornwall side.
