NHS app for proof of vaccine for Spain

Hi, can anyone confirm that they have entered Spain successfully using the NHS app to prove their double vaccinated?

I’m also taking a paper copy just in case it’s free order on the NHS website

I've read comments from people saying only an original certificate ordered from NHS through the post will allow entry...not the app or print outs of the pdf.

@Wowwellokthen Oh.... geez. I have the app and can get the PDF from that. Guess it is best to order a letter then too.......

I've panicked and gone to airport for rapid turnaround test too

Travelling to Spain on Thursday but have no idea. I've gone for belt and braces and ordered the NHS letter.
Took DD to the airport for her test this morning and went for the 24 hour option so crossing everything for a negative result.
It's all so bloody stressful but have to go and see my mother. Going for four weeks, not sure I'd go through all this for a holiday!!
All the rumours and half truths are driving me insane.
Someone in Spain suggested I might need a letter of invitation from my mum so have even done that although pretty sure it won't be required.
Having not seen her for ten months leaving nothing to chance!!

@drivinmecrazy Good luck! Are you flying in to mainland Spain? I can fully emphatise over not having seen a parent for a long tim. My widowed dad is in a different country too and I hope and pray I will see him soon (after a year).

NoMoreLimbo yes travelling to the mainland.
Actually beginning to panic about getting back to U.K. having seen the huge increase in cases and many areas beginning to reintroduce restrictions that they've only recently relaxed.
The stress is never ending!!

Husband is double jabbed and used the app to download his covid pass.

All was fine for entry to Spain.

He also ordered the letter by post. It arrived in 3 days but wasn’t needed. Good luck.

How do you order a paper copy of the original certificate?? Is there a link?

You don’t need a letter if you have the app. If you really want one though then here’s the link
