I was just thinking (I know it hurt)

I put a tip to Twiglett (how is DD today) yesterday, and thought has anyone else got sensible everyday tips about anything.

Mine was

Give a child with a bleeding mouth a spoonful of sugar, It stops the bleeding immediately. I carry one of those sachets in my purse, cos it always happens when we are out.

If you get blood on anything soak in COLD water. Heat just sets the stain.

Ah. right ho. That's not terribly clear is it!! Thanks. I only replied to a newish thread so didn't look at titles really. And I wasn't being deliberatley rude or stand offish with ? Had child/dog/general chaos issues and needed to be quick!!

Maybe you could start a thread for tip of the week in Chat.
Like some magazines do!

Yes that is a possiblity but the only 2 tips I've got are the blood one and don't post on mumsnet during chaos!!!
Besides you can bleed whilst travelling so I stand by the place of posting (that's my story and I'm sticking to it)!!!
