When can I travel after 2nd jab?

Advice gratefully appreciated...
I am booked to have my 2nd covid jab on the morning of Monday 9th August. I believe I need to wait 2 weeks after this to be considered 'fully vaccinated' and able to travel. Does this mean I would be able to fly to France on Monday 23rd August or would I have to wait until Tuesday 24th?
I'm desperate to get over there as we have a property which has been sitting empty for over a year and I'm really worried about the state of it. I really can't go any later in the Summer as I'm a teacher so back to school on 1st September.
Thanks in advance.

I've seen different dates for this I'm counting 14 days from the day after the second vaccination so it would be vaccination on 1st next 14 days then flight day after the 14 have passed. It's tricky and I'm pretty sure I've seen some countries want three weeks after vaccination.

I would count vaccination day as day 0.

Good luck, I hope you get away! I’m in Scotland and will be unable to go away because by the time I’m ‘fully vaccinated’, we return to school 4 days later 😭

Depends on the country you're travelling too.
It's not decided by UK government its decided by other governments.
It's also subject to change at shirt notice.
Typically it is 14 days fir most places but this is not a guaranteed certainty and read carefully the wording. 14 days after vaccine could actually be 15 days depending how its worded.

Many thanks for your comments - it's pretty confusing, isn't it?! Hope you have a good Summer whatever you manage to do!
