vaccination proof different name to passport name

My vaccination proof is in my married name, passport in maiden name (just cos not got round to spending £££ unecesarily) Any ideas if this is accepted? Do they just scan the bar code thing at passport control/check in? thanks for any help

Yes i think that will be a problem for you. Do you have time to get your passport renewed? Or might it be quicker to get your name changed on your NHS records? If all else fails, you'll have to take your marriage certificate with you and hope for the best.

@Nootkah Sadly not enough time - did look at that. Changing GP doesnt change your vaccination record name

I have this problem too, I was thinking of taking marriage certificate. It’s so annoying.

It won't be an issue. Just take your birth certificate and marriage certificate.

I always have this issue (with stuff like banking and taking my children on holiday without DH) as I have a Belgian passport which never changes to the married name. I always take a marriage certificate and it's never been a problem.

Update- for anyone in similar situation. Took marriage certificate, was fine both ways not even mentioned. Guess it’s v common, also border control got more to worry about.

Just for anyone else... I took my marriage certificate to the GP who changed it on the system which then updates tour vaccination record within 2 days.

Yes it does. I was in the same situation and this is exactly what I did.

I also changed my name back to my maiden name with the GP, it took a couple of days a d I had to delete the NHS app and reinstall it to get it to change my name. I did this because I also use my maiden name for work and hence private healthcare is in my maiden name too - it felt easier than changing my passport. I wasn’t asked for my vaccination record though in the end - not sure if it gets cross matched remotely but think not…..
