Anyone visited Eden Project in cornwall, where to stay?

Eden project looks fab over x-mas, want to go for a couple of nights, anyone stayed somewhere good for kids??

The Eden project is fantastic and we have been several times. Can't help on the staying front as it is only 1hour down the road. How close did you want to stay?

China Fleet website has a great swimming pool. You can sometimes get very cheap deals there too. Apartments are v clean - and self catering, but there's a restaurant too. The pool is fantastic, 25m and flume/ leisure bit. The other sports facilities you have to pay for. It's just inside Cornwall near Plymouth but not too far from Eden.

Fowey Hall

I can confirm that the China Fleet is lovely, you can walk there from my house and I worked there many years ago. So it is about 1 hour from the Eden Project.

Don't go to Fowey Hall. We went there last year, the food was awful and it was so boring!

We went last year too (vaguely thinking about conceiving No. 2, but was already pg unknown to me then) and had a lovely time-fab food, nice people, good babysitter, and a very warm swimming pool which was great with a littlie. Seemed fairly pricey but when you considered what the cost entailed it was actuall good value. Now i want to go to the others in that group.

friedn went to fowey ghall last winter and said it was great and she is a gourmet!
