Green list holiday ASAP?

Hi All,

I know most people wouldn't even think about it just yet but....

Dh (40) has stage 4 terminal cancer, we were told last week some shitty news regarding his latest scan. We have an appointment on Wednesday to give us his options. It's looking like he will either be offered a last chance chemo or nothing. He's not expected to make it to next year.

The crazy thing is at the minute he is really well in himself (as much as you can be) so if the oncologist gives us the go ahead we would like to go somewhere warm for a week before any treatment starts or we have to tell everyone the bad news. This weekend would be best for us to leave.

We want, 7 nights, warm, quiet and adults mostly oh and all inclusive.

Tui have a search function for adult only resorts and I think other operators do too. I would look at Maderia as even the touristy end of Funchal isn't that touristy and there isn't a big nightclub/pub "strip" that you get in some resorts.

Majorca could be a good bet. Just need a negative test to get in, coming home and then Day 2. I was looking last night and the best deals were with EasyJet holidays or BA holidays. You can easily filter by star rating and all inclusive. They’ll also do you a package on the tests you need.

Absolutely Madeira or Majorca (north of the island) would be my suggestions.

God OP. My heart breaks for you and you sound unbelievably relentless in making the most of the time you have. I believe you will have a beautiful holiday.
