The flight I was looking at the afternoon (first week of July) has gone up from £20 to £333.

Gutted isn’t the word.

The airline obviously know something we don’t.

We're booked for menorca so waiting with baited breath. Planning on self catering villa and minimal contact whilst we're there but will be much more relaxed if it goes green!

I'd be amazed if the airline knows anything. I work in the travel industry and know someone actually on the government global travel task force and he doesn't even get any info prior to announcements. It'll be dynamic pricing driven by hopeful bookings following the rumours of easing up restrictions. I hope I'm wrong though, I'm desperate for a holiday and the industry is on dire straits.

I'd be really surprised if anything goes green before 19th July. Boris won't announce anything until its too late for anyone to book as he wants people to stay and spend money in the UK.

Well I’ve got a very very limited window I can go away. So if it’s true I am well and truly priced out. That’s another year gone.

I have no interest in holidaying in the UK. It’s not worth the money IMO

Checked as we're booked for August and I'm so dithering about going as DS goes back to school on the Monday after we return. The flights from Scotland haven't changed price wise at all - still very low.
