Ideas for 40th birthday UK beach escape

My dh will be 40 in July and i would love to surprise him with a weekend break by the beach (as he loves the beach), max 2 hours away from London by train - somewhere that will be child friendly as we will have a 3 month old baby with us. We will drive there but we will have some family getting the train from London after work to meet us for dinner on the Friday evening. Any ideas? Really stuck and have left this so late to organise because been getting used to new baby. Help! x

This summer, in July - I would recommend anywhere you can find a vacancy, I'm afraid. Bookings for UK holidays have gone through the roof because of the foreign travel uncertainty. Just google everywhere within a two hour drive and look for vacancies.

Congratulations on the new baby!

As above book where you can get in.

Also buggy’s and beaches do not mix, invest in a sling it will be so much easier.

Thank you. Yes I'm really annoyed at myself for not planning this months ago but it was so stressful the pregnancy and then first few weeks with baby. Hope I manage to find something
