Ski Recommendations

Looking at booking our annual ski trip in the hope it can go ahead next year.

We've done Bansko quite a few times, and like it because it is very cheap and the slopes are fantastic for beginners. Downsides are it is not modern and not a huge variety of places to eat + the distance from airport-hotel is a few hours

Have also done Innsbruck a few times. Lots of places to eat, right next to gondola and short distance from airport-hotel but the slopes are quite hardcore and not as child friendly

Criteria is:

-up to 2 hours from hotel to airport
-must have some v beginner slopes (nearly flat)
-area for toddlers to play in the snow

But in the spirit of being nice I shall recommend Montgenevre.Fly to Turin and it's only an hours drive away - unfortunately most travel agents seem to fly to other airports when it's included in packages- but it's a super resort for beginners and children and being near the Italian border there is a lot of pizza available.
