Has anyone done Portugal since it changed to green?

Can I ask what it was like?
What is the testing procedure and is it well organised?
What was your return to UK like?

Thanks

Place marking as I'm also wondering this. DH and I are thinking we'll maybe go for a long weekend before the kids break up from school (if I can persuade my DM to come down and babysit!)

Iceland, anyone?

GrinGrin
I'm hoping Rhodes or Malta might be alternatives

I’m hoping madeira stays green if they’re setting a precedent of treating islands separately to the mainland...

I would read reviews on Trip Advisor, some hotels are not coping very well with the influx of guests especially meal time service as nearly all are now table service. I do have some friends going early July and they are using Randox for all their testing, they offer a Portugal package for all 3 tests. I have heard very good reviews about Randox with reliable testing results.

Oh God @MozzchopsThirty, I'm due to go tonight

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 03/06/2021 13:09

Just seen that nothing else is going on the green list! Let's see about Portugal, I am due to go in 5 weeks...

doorornottodoor · 03/06/2021 13:40

I am going to be so upset if it goes amber . Leaving in 4 weeks and was looking forward to it so much 😢

Puffthemagicdragongoestobed · 03/06/2021 13:46

I can really recommend the Testing for All test package. It's very reasonable and efficient. Have recently returned from an amber country, so not Portugal.

Oh my, so gutted for those of you that have booked already Sad
It's like they dangle a carrot and snatch it away
Genuinely hope you can either travel & isolate or move your trips

Looks like Torquay for us then! Hmm

Not sure what to do!!! We’re booked for 4 weeks time. Jet2 flights Airbnb apartment. Cancellation policy on accommodation is -get 50% back or pay the lot and reschedule within next 2 years. We are covered on travel insurance but we need to pursue airline/accommodation first.
