October half term

Is anyone thinking about booking a holiday for October half term yet? We'd really like to go away as it's our DDs birthday in October but we're nervous about booking anything yet. Equally, I don't like leaving things too late to book and there being no availability. We have a specific place we'd like to go to.

We are booked to go to Florida.
Only booked flights so far but they are refundable, though not cash.
So can cancel for voucher refund for any reason up,to,3 weeks before, and a date/route change up to 2 hours before the flight.

Will book hotels soon but again all cancelable/refundable.

Don't think the park tickets are refundable so waiting til closer before getting them.

I'd like to think that by October we should be able to go but who knows.

Yes that's what I'm worried about too. I can see another lockdown this autumn/winter happening.

We'd like to go to France. @Fivemoreminutes1 obviously we would check cancellation policies before booking but we will be booking travel and accommodation separately and want to stay in at least two different places so some elements may be easy to cancel and get a refund whilst other bits might not.

We're booked, but flights Easyjet so can be changed up to a couple of hours before and villa cancellable until 2 weeks before. I wouldn't book anything without cancellation at the minute, try booking.com they show cancellation details and you can filter on that.
