Hi all, we have booked a hols for next year. Only booked hotel at the moment now looking into flights. We always do package holidays but it is definitely cheaper doing it separately now I have noticed! We are flying to Rhodes, just wondering what easyjet are like to fly with? I have only ever flew with package holiday airlines TUI, Thomas Cook, First Choice etc... the flights are a lot cheaper with easyjet than TUI. We are flying with a 1 year old so he will be on our lap, can anyone please tell me what easyjet are like to fly with?

Many thanks 😊

easyJet are fine. More pleasant that Ryanair and about the same as Jet2 ime. Until this is over we're booking package holidays only as you have the option of free cancellation in the event the rules at the time of travel mean you'd have to pay for hotel quarantine or the destination goes on a no travel list. In fairness though you're likely to be able to move flights booked with either.

Easyjet are absolutely fine to fly with, but I'd echo what the poster above says about the extra protection that comes with a package.

I work in travel and while we've done all the legwork for all our disrupted (and often disrupted several times over) clients I've heard some horror stories over the past year of people trying to unravel things themselves and having to fight for refunds, sometimes not getting them, when everything has gone to shit.

My job means I'm more than confident in booking my own stuff individually and for the most part always have done, but I'll be booking packages for the foreseeable.

The seats don't recline at all on easyJet. Might not be an issue as it's only a 4 hour flight. I travelled at night and it was so uncomfortable!

EasyJet. The worst flight I ever had was TUI.

easyJet are my go-to company whenever I'm looking for flights. Almost always cheaper than Ryanair, efficient, comfortable and fly to airports actually in places you've heard of rather than out in the sticks ones.

@Longdistance

EasyJet. The worst flight I ever had was TUI.

I have never had a bad flight with Tui. They also came up trumps a couple of years ago when our flight home from Madeira was delayed by nearly 24 hours, and paid for us to stay in a hotel for an extra night.

Thank you all, we have now decided to go with easyjet! A big saving of £300! Also, infants get 2 items for free i.e pushchair, travel cot, carseat etc... so not bad at all! X
