Yes. We're already booked to go to legoland.

But what else should I book? I have 5 year old twins.

Thanks in advance.

If you are National Trust members then Cliveden is glorious and has play areas etc

Windsor Castle has activities for kids. Go on the duck tour, you start by driving thru Windsor then it goes in the water down the Thames. Alexandra Gardens in town has mini golf by the river. Jelly Lounge for soft play if raining it has a bar also which is a plus! Odds Farm is a bit further out but really good.

The lookout discovery Centre in bracknell is good too

Go to Windsor Castle and look at Queen Anne's dolls house. It's amazing! Massive, with lots and lots of rooms in exquisite detail, from the garages and servant quarters to the posh rooms.

I haven't been for about 20 years though!

Queen Mary's dolls house. I'm going to Windsor in July.

Coral reef has water slides and is meant to be brilliant fun it's near the lookout discovery centre.

walk around Eton and feed the swans by Eton bridge - walk on the Brocas by the river

walk to the Copper horse (a long walk!!!) and have a picnic there - you can see london skyline on a sunny day - a lot shorter walk from the bishopsgate entrance to the great park if you can get a taxi there!

see the polo on smiths lawn

visit virginia water lake from the A30 (ruins and a waterfall and cafe)

Runneymede - playground - river boat journeys - the magna carta and president kennedy memorals - Writ on water - and the jurors - v special

Our kids loved the open top bus.

balalalala · 17/05/2021 18:35

Coral reef is brilliant and opposite the look out so makes a nice day out.

You can hire boats in Windsor which is also fun.

There's a couple of good local bloggers on Instagram with good ideas. Have a look at family_footsteps and Berkshiremummies

Another trip to the Great Park, park in the Savill Garden car park, as you face the building, turn left and walk downhill towards the totem pole. Small adventure play area for children and a mobile drinks van. Bliss. Loos in the Savill Building.
