Accommodation in Dorset

We are planning a trip to Dorset during the May half term, 3 nights. I would be grateful for recommendations for accommodation: self contained, 2 bedrooms ideally? Most of the places I have found are around £200 per night? Perhaps that is the standard these days with Covid. Maybe we are going to have to go camping? any ideas where we could stay?

I’m surprised there is anything left! I don’t think £200 a night is awful and you are not wanting a week so maybe you are paying a premium. Don’t know about camping but have you found vacancies?

Not surprised by the price but perhaps broaden the number of suppliers you have looked at (have you tried AirBnB and Sykes?) and look at properties in next door Wiltshire too? If you’re happy to broaden location then Somerset may have some under £200 a night options.
