Girls weekend for our 40th

Next spring/summer 3 of us turn 40. Looking for a Relaxing, warm, pretty break. 3 hour flight max as it's just a weekend.
Somewhere a bit different, and where we can drink good wine!

Seville or Granada in Spain

Another one for Palma! Nakar Hotel is great with a rooftop pool and views of Cathedral. Get a taxi to the castle/ Joan Miro residence.

I went to Malaga for my 40th, was such a lovely place and would definitely recommend it

Malaga, loved it.

Bilbao

Seville and stay in Hotel Las Casas de le Juderia.

Berlin

Anywhere on south coast of Spain , flying to Malaga.
There’s a good modern train serving the coast past Marbella ( if your looking to book the bits yourself )

We went in February a few years ago and it was warm. Great food and wine. All reasonably priced. Lots to do and explore. Can get by mostly on foot. Wear flat shoes as streets are cobbled and hilly! Take a trip place the custard tart comes from. Can get on one of the city sightseeing buses.

Bordeaux. Cite du Vin you will love I expect. There is a food festival in June or the weekend with the Fete de la Musique. Beach about an hour by train to Arcachon.

Carcassonne in the south of France. Stunning.

Palma. Went there for a joint 40th weekend with my best friends a couple of years ago, it was fab!

Capri. Cheap, short flight to Naples, taxi to harbour and then 40 min ferry. It's absolutely stunning!
