Malta in June

I am hoping/trying/attempting to meet my DP in June during half term. I thought of Malta as it might open for Brits and could open for their country too and travel from their country is easy.

I have never been and know nothing about Malta. We are 4 adults and 1 DC and need an apartment/airbnb or nice Hotel ideally with access to pool and not too far from the sea. Also within walking distance of shops/restaurants/cafés. My stepdad gets bored easily and likes to stroll around a town.
Any suggestions? Thanks!!

i too would go to portugal over malta any day, especially if you wanted a beach holiday. if you do go to malta we were advised against getting a hire car as the other drivers are very fast....think london but more so.

Were going to the seabank hotel in mellieha in July and can't wait. Been to Malta loads as have family there. Love mellieha beach

Looks like Portugal won’t be on the green list anyway so Malta most likely. Has anyone been to the AX The Palace or The Radisson Blue?
