Anyone been to STOMP!

I'd like to go and I think my boys would enjoy it, at least the initial impact , but i wonder if it might be too long?

They're 4 & 6 and the older one particularly is not good at sitting still.

Is it suitable for this aged group?

Is it noisy enough that if they do get a bit restless, it won't disturb the rest of the audience?

I saw a STOMP routine years ago - just part of the show, not the whole lot, can't remember how come but they were part of maybe a variety show? - anyway it was so noisy, so toe-tappingly tingly that it was impossible to stop yourself moving with them. I don't think anything a couple of young boys could do (except perhaps climb onto the heads of the row in front) would really disturb the audience. But it is NOISY and a little overwhelming, at least what I saw, and I wouldn't take my children to it. But mine don't like fireworks because of the noise, yours may be different about noise.

Saw it about 5 years ago. I remember it being very noisy, good fun at first but I got bored quickly. By the end, I had a stomping headache and just wanted out.

I do not think I would take 4 and 6 yo to see it.

it is brilliant my daughter was about 5 when we went and she was fascinated with it

We saw it last year for my birthday, and thought it was great.

It is very noisy but thats the point, it is good fun.

I would say you might need to lock up your brooms, bins and anything else that can be used to a lot of loud noises as your DC may try to copy them when they get home .

I'm taking my dc to see it next year, from what I've seen on tv it looks realy good.

I went a year ago with the girlfriends and thier 7 yr old son and 5 yr old..... they absolutely loved it ... and did not get bored at all

the impact of the music and the lights creates a multi visual perpesctive which kept them hoooked

i wouldnt advise you to go with young children though.. as is could be a bit too scary and noisy
