Southern Spain - suncream in November?!

Probably a stupid question but I presume that we won't need suncream in Southern Spain next week - it is forecast to be about 20 degrees but I assume the sun won't be strong enough (ds has olive skin but I am pale and pasty)

we have just come back...with sunburn! we did take cream but i forgot to put it in my day back one day, it was 20 degrees and absolutely baking. my dp is ginger too and burns through factor 50, so he was cowering in the shade.
we were delighted to return to Yorshire in autumn. relief!
take the suncream!

Poor you - try taking a Nurofen for your sunburn - works a treat to calm it down.

Ooh at least the weather sounds good.

I will defintely pack the suncream then! Very helpful as I was really assuming it wouldn't be needed!

we went to alicante. the sunburn wasn't bad or anything, just a bit warm feeling afterward, but thats cos on the day we forgot we did endeavour to stay in the shade.
do take the suncream!!

I checked the forecast and it looked like it was going to be quite chilly at night and about 19 degrees in the day. Was it quite cold at night?
Just wondering what to pack!

My parents live out there. Lucky sods!

The english visitors are sunbathing at the moment and my parents are in the mountains.

It is getting a bit chilly in the evenings.

Would recommend "Layers" You don;t want to get caught if the weather does take a cooler turn.

Definately pack th sunblock.

thanks for this thread. Off to Gerona on Wednesday. Probably won't be as hot as the south but I hadn't thought to take any.

Have just got back from Murcia and it was lovely and sunny. Definitely take the suncream.

That is where we are off to.

I was staying in Los Alcazares, but did go for a visit to La Manga. Had a fab time.

Am looking forward to slightly warmer weather as felt really cold today!

Wish i was still there, it's freezing here tonight.
