Has anyone stayed there? Or in Cala’Dor itself?

I’ve just booked for next year me, dp & my 2 DD’s who will be 7&4

Hope it’s nice!

We’ve stayed in inturotel esmeralda which is the resort next to it. It was beautiful! Really nice standard of rooms. Very clean. We didn’t eat there apart from the beach side cafe/restaurant (lovely food) but had some cocktails at happy hour:ice creams etc. It was late in season so no entertainment and we only went for 4 days but we loved it.

We've also stayed at the Esmerelda, it was great, very clean, lovely beach which is great for snorkelling if you like that kind of thing

Thank you both - so looking forward to it even though over a year to wait still.

The walk into the town isn’t far either is it or the Marina?

No, it's not far to walk into the town, 10 minutes tops and I'm not a quick walker. The marina is a little farther, I think we got a taxi but I have mobility problems. You can eat at the Yacht Club, book for the fixed price menu, it's fabulous!

@HerLadySheep - brilliant that’s great to know. Will have to remember that about the yacht club.

Is there any excursions or anything that we could do as a family? Not looking at hiring a car.

There are some fantastic caves not too far away, I think they're called Caves of Drach, it would be a bus ride away but it's well worth it. I'm claustrophobic but these are massive and incredible with a boat and classical music!
The snorkelling off the beach is really fun too if you enjoy that kind of thing? Have a fabulous holiday

Great thank you I shall have a look at these caves. Will definitely be doing a bit of snorkelling too!
I know there is a water park on the island too which I know my girls would love but I believe it’s not nearby, I wonder if we could get a bus there for the day.
