Resorts from Split airport

Hi

We'll hopefully be travelling next year with two teenagers for about 12 nights.

Looking for scenic resorts, not too busy or top big (probably a nightmare in August) with something to occupy the kids.

I've been looking at Bol, Makarska, Primosten and Lumbarda. Probably will do 2/3 resorts.

Has anyone been to any of these resorts and can recommend them or anywhere else?

Wherever you choose in Croatia you will not go far wrong. The sparkling Adriatic, the wonderful national parks, the sunshine, the Croatians are so welcoming. I could go on and on.
I’ve stayed in Split, Primosten, Bol and Zadar the latter twice and we were booked to go to Bol last October but didn’t make it as their was no travel corridor. We hope to get back there this October and have this transferred from last year.
We usually do 2 centres it’s really easy with a car.
I first visited in 2017 and could kick myself what I have missed all of these years.

Split is lovely! Quite possibly you’ve not had a huge amount of response as it’s not a resort heavy area, many tourists seem to rent apartments if they are staying (many arrive by boat just for the day).We did.

As the PP has said, it’s a beautiful area. Split itself has got lots of history and is a nice place for a couple of days.
