Which greek island for honeymoon?

Me and DP are hoping to go to one of the greek islands for ten days in September for a honeymoon. Any recommendations? No kids, so family activities not really important. Ideally we're looking for a cottage or similar with nice views and a pool, within walking distance of a few restaurants. Budget wise we're looking at £200/£250 a night. Santorini looks amazing, but think it's quite likely to be out of budget...

My personal favourite is Skiathos.

Me and DH honeymooned in Corfu 8 years ago, bloody loved it and would love to go back.

Skopelos. Especially if you are a Mamma Mia fan.

Skiathos. Santorini is pretty over rated.

Kefalonia.

Another vote for Skiathos. Beautiful, friendly, quiet. Gorgeous old town, heavenly beaches. Whichever you choose, do a boat tour so you can see some of the beaches inaccessible by land.

We went to Santorini for our honeymoon and it is beautiful but very busy, more so with American tourists than European.

I've previously been to Skiathos and loved it. The hotel I stayed at had its own private beach and a water taxi that went to the old town.

I've also been to Crete but didn't see much of the island as I didn't really leave the hotel (very pregnant) the place we stayed was called St Nicolas Bay.
We stayed in this suite which was right next to the main pool, overlooked the sea and not even 2 mins walk to the restaurant for breakfast. All of the restaurants were amazing and you're only a 10 min taxi ride from a town

Alonissos. The furthest out, I think, of the Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos).

You can get some room only type places cheap on Santorini, but it can be expensive for a flight, but if you fly Via Athens its cheap

Naxos is beautiful and is quiet even in the height of summer. There's a gorgeous old town full of little lanes to get lost in. Everything from super chic bars to traditional tavernas. Plenty of good quality accommodation options for your budget. You can either take a flight from Athens or the ferry from Mykonos. Both routes take approx 25 minutes and flights to Mykonos are generally cheaper than to Athens.
