This King Tut exhibition - any idea how to get tickets?

Online you just get a message saying none are available for your chosen day. Does anyone have any tickets? How did you get them? Did 3 million very organised people just book all the tickets in the world 6 months ago? Is this a bit like summer holidays?

I was planning go to in January and didn't realise it was going to be difficult!

Someone must be going to this, eh?

I have been looking at December - maybe Jan is OK?

Hey Dino, don't you realise this a ONCE IN A LIFETIME event as attended 35 years ago by DP aged 7 (OK maybe two or three times in a lifetime)? we coudl all save up and see it in dallas...

I went to see it in Germany eons and eons ago. Didn't realise it was a big deal at the time!

Anyway, I just had a quick look on the Ticketmaster site - they seem to have tickets for it?

Ah but when you try and book the tickets they tell you they haven't got any - at least they do for weekends in December...

I am thinking of going on Mon 19 Nov as the DSs have an inset day so I was going to take the day off work.

now that could work - unless millions of mad people with inset days have already booked...
Our inset day sadly is 12th November.

Oh what a drag, otherwise we could have met up (finally)!

weekends prolly are sold out - i just booked for february half term and they only had afternoon entry tickets left
