Hi, I’ve only visited 2 cities in Europe. Paris and Salzburg and loved both. If you could only choose 3 cities which would you choose to go again. (Would be lovely to know why you’ve chosen these) Thank you

Barcelona - amazing architecture, loads nice parks, beaches, fountains, shopping and tapas.
Budapest - quirky and cheap!
Rome - stunning history and art, great food, so incredibly metropolitan

Venice is like a fairytale. Just magical.
Rome is packed with history and beauty plus small enough to walk around.
Prague is a perfect Medieval city.

To get a range of cities...
Rome.. Its just a walking museum.
I'd pick one from Krakow, Budapest and Prague.. Personally I'd pick krakow over the other 2 due to additional excursions and price.. All 3 are v good.
Finally Lisbon with at least a day trip (train) to sinatra...

I haven't been to Berlin so can't grade that. I used to love Barcelona but find it too touristy now. I prefer all those listed to Paris.

Reykjavik, Northern lights, blue lagoon, golden circle tour, amazing.

Pompeii over Rome but they are quite close so could do both. Next time I would fly into Rome for a day or two then train to Naples and fly home from Naples.

Paris

Venice, we went in November and it was quiet and very atmospheric.
Stockholm, beautiful in summer and so much to do.
Rome, my favourite big city, packed with interesting things to see.

Istanbul - the food is just incredible
Granada - the Alhambra, stunning
Venice - unique environment, nothing remotely like it anywhere else in the world

Amsterdam (have been to twice, can't wait to go again)
Seville but not in June, July or August - but just so beautiful.
Munich because Munich is in Bavaria and Bavaria is wonderful.

Barcelona, Paris and Lisbon I've been to at least 3 times so they can go on the back burner for now. I don't feel a tremendous yearning to go back to Prague, Rome, Montpellier (also been there several times over the years) Porto, Girona, Vienna - although I very much enjoyed my breaks there.

European cities I've not been to but would love to one day - Glasgow, Toulouse, Madrid, Dubrovnik.

Lots of places I still want to go but loved Budapest. Loads to do and easy transport, friendly and beautiful.

Barcelona, though I've been loads of times so would probably choose somewhere new now.

Can't think of third, there's loads of new places I want to visit. I wasn't fussed on Paris, it was too big and I don't like walking all that much!

So many places I haven't visited but would love to, though. I haven't been to Paris in many years and would also love to go back there.

Vilnius - some really hip bars and restaurants, the architecture is beautiful, loads of stuff going on culturally, and historically very very interesting.

Malaga - great food, the amazing Picasso museum, by the sea, a relatively small city so good for walking round, historical stuff to go and look at, just really underrated I think as a place to go, a lot of tourists will go to the airport and then straight off to a resort.

Madrid - I love art so any excuse really. It has everything you would want in a city tbh.

Pisa - good food, sightseeing and short train ride to Lucca

Budapest - for all the reasons already outlined although wasn't keen on local cuisine.

Ajaccio- gorgeous beach, food, could've stayed there forever

Rome - just a wonderful city rich in history, good food, historic neighbourhoods, walkable, nice in any season inc. winter.

Lisbon - friendly, lovely seaside location, people speak English, good food, plenty to see and do, walkable, also nice to visit in winter.

Valencia - lovely old town, futuristic city of the sciences, has a nice beach with restaurants, etc, not overly touristy so feels authentically Spanish, mild and sunny in winter.
