We are off to lapland for christmas with a 15month old baby. Are we crazy? Last year it was -19

Does anyone have any advice on clothing, buggies or anything else relevant.

Thanks

Lucky you! Do you get hired gear thrown in with the deal?

Yes we went but it wasn't that cold and we hired stuff. We needed lots of gloves and hats especially 'cos they kept getting wet.

Are you going to visit family/friends or is it a "package" style holiday? i.e. Try to borrow (once you are there I guess) a real sheepskin footsack/buggyliner...what are they called? They are pretty comman in most cold western european countries and are great.

...mean't to add you can use them on baby sledges also.

It is so cold. When I worked for Thomas cook we advised against taking under twos there as it was far too cold.
