I'd go for a cottage but a very big one. The big cottage co is fab, hang on, will find the thread about it. Big kitchen, 4 beds all ensuite, big sitting room, games room, pool, hot tub, wonderful. I think you can hire another bit too that would take it up to 6 bedrooms, would that be enough?

Problem with hiring a big selfcatering house is that someone will have to take charge of meals and everyone chip in with money and helping or you could all do one meal each. Can get a bit tense with everyone trying to do own routines, some relaxing some always clearing up etc. If you are going to have older kids you will want a seperate lounge or area for them to do their thing.
Perhaps a complex with smaller self catering units so you can get together when you choose.

Perhaps a smaller hotel/ guest house. All got own rooms and space and no one has to clear up. Or somewhere with activities so guys can go off and do something, ladies in the spa and a babysitter for the kids.

Center Parcs?

cutekids · 29/10/2007 14:48

thanks everyone.
had a look at the cottages.they all look very nice indeed.
they've all done the cottage thing before and they all seemed to get on fine. must admit though, i do like my space and so does hubbie. think some of them have been t C.Parcs but nobody really raved about it. i think they found it a bit dear from what i remember.

What about something cheaper than Centre parks Individual cabins, but has pool, spa, playareas and pub/ retaurant. Hoseasons has quite a few similar parks.

I honestly think I would go here:

as should appeal to everyone.

Either that or would go to First Choice Holiday Village in Benamadena (nr Malaga), as again that should appeal to everyone.

Can I come?

Go to one of the big Irish country house hotels, We went to one in Cork a couple of years ago as a big family reunion and had a fab time.

Very child friendly, with optional high tea for the little ones.

Golf, Fishing, Riding and bloody silly quad biking for the husbands.

Nice spa for you and your friends.

I just love do's!
