Has anyone been to BoraBora?

Hi all!

Planning a honeymoon for late 2021 and my dream has always been French Polynesia in the South Pacific. Anyone ever been to Moorea and Bora Bora? If so, which hotels do you recommend? We are thinking 3 nights Moorea and 8 nights Bora Bora.

Any suggestions welcome xx

We went to Bora Bora for our honeymoon 19 years ago now - it was stunning
We flew via LA and went to Tahiti for a night on the way out to break up the journey and then flew onto the island, We did 10 nights I think which maybe was a bit much as not much to do. A lot of the hotels are off the main island so you get a boat shuttle there and back which is fine. Do you dive? If so its amazing. We dived nearly every day and saw so many manta rays, sharks etc
I loved it as its so remote and different. Once in a lifetime opportunity for us as its so far away.

Sorry forgot to say we stayed at the Pearl Beach Resort in an over water bungalow - simply heavenly!
