Barbados Christmas 2021?

Dh really dislikes Christmas he does so well to hide the inner grinch and I don't get all 'but it's Christmas!' around him. Next year covid/travel permitting we said we'd like to sod off for Christmas. No dealing with anything other than packing.

We stayed at the Colony club 8 years ago which was nice, we'd like somewhere small, quiet where we can step out on to the beach. On the Caribbean Sea side.

Has anyone stayed in somewhere like this? Or can recommend another island that fits the bill?

So many options. Beautiful places to stay all over the Island.

We loved Mango Bay Hotel, Holetown......right on the beach. Small but perfect

We are currently in Antigua. Got away just before T4 restrictions. Can highly recommend.

St Lucia is lovely, I preferred it to Barbados.

We stay at Coral Reef Club, Sandpiper or Waves hotel when we go to Barbados, all in the same area as Colony Club, all right on the beach and a short taxi into Holetown.

We have stayed in the Bourgainvillea Hotel next to Sandals. Has a mini kitchen so you can cater for yourselves as well as eating out or in the hotel. We are a family of 4 so the self catering option helps at Xmas when everywhere is super busy and expensive. Literally on the beach. Small but loved it. They do a great NYE party too.
