Thanks Brownsuga
it's with singapore air and LO will be 11 months old. Any feedback there? Are singapore air good with babies?

This is a few days old, but hopefully you will still get it!
Singapore Air is fab with babies/children. We flew with them to Australia this time last year when dd was only 10 weeks old, and have just booked to go back again in a few weeks time - this time on my own...eeek!

Make sure when you book - you can book online directly with Singapore Air, but you have to phone to add the infant to the booking - that you get them to 100% confirm a 'sky cot' basinette. Speak to a supervisor if you have to, but get them to check that there is one available on your flight on the date you are going. There are only a limited amount and it is first come first served. We did this and we were so glad we did as there were too many little ones and not enough cots on our way home. We had a crazy French lady try and tell us that her nearly-two-year-old could 'share' the basinette with our tiny dd, but because we had booked it when we booked the seats, the staff told her that it was ours.

Final tip is that there is a lovely outdoor swimming pool in the airport which is attached to one of the hotels. It is only about five pounds and you get a drink thrown in. If you have a few hours to kill it is lovely to have a swim and then a shower/change of clothes - really breaks the journey and makes you feel less icky when you finally get there. Ask someone in the airport or just follow the signs.

Also, that price looks pretty good. I am paying just under 1000 pounds for me and dd who is 14 months.

Have a great trip!!!
