The 10 year old will love it. Not so sure about the 4 year old, dd would have at that age, but ds would have found it less interesting.

DD was 4 when she went (nearly 5) and she loved it. Obviously a lot of the written stuff went over her head but I told her a brief version of the written stuff and she was interested. She loved all the hands on stuff and the movie.

Thanks SNSS, we didn't go today in the end but may do later this week.

We went on Tesco points - had a fab time - DD was 4.5 at the time, and DS nearly 7. Wouldn't hesitate to go back in a year or 2

10 YO will love it. 4 YO will not get the most from it, but will still love the rockets and interactive stuff...our 4 YO keeps asking to go back. Ask at the ticket desk about gift aid - sign a piece of paper, and at no extra cost, your ticket becomes a year pass and the Centre gets tax back from Mr Chancellor!!!

Don't forget to allow an hour to visit the Abbey Pumping Station next door (it's free!). Lots of big steam stuff...and I'll lay odds that the 4 YO will love the pull along tram and the see-through toilet and drains.

Have fun!
