Anyone recommend a lovely holiday house on Rarotonga?

Due to me being gluten free and ds's being allergic to lots of thing a stay in a resort is not going to work for us.

We need a lovely house on the beach, with a full kitchen.

I've emailed loads of holiday homes and have the grand total of 4 replies - none of which are within our budget - or they don't have our dates - or they don't take children under 12.

We have found 3 houses:

House 1 was at the top end of our budget and on the right beach and on the beach. But it was attached to another home.

House 2 was on the beach but was part of a few similar holiday homes. It was slightly dearer but included transfers from and to airport.

House 3 was cheapest - have to cross road to get to beach, but has a large lawn and is detached on it's own section and is the furthest away from the road.

We have gone for house 3 as the people who owned it seemed really nice on the phone, and dh has decided that privacy and quiet is more important to him than being right on a beach.

That's good. What time of year are you going?
