Florida - shopping recommendations, plus others!

Hi

We're off to Florida, yippee!! Anyway, we're heading over to Treasure Island area to start with and then back to Orlando. I'm wanting to do some serious shopping - inc jeans, trainers, toys etc, the usual! Can anyone recommend good malls, outlet areas in either places we're going please. It's been a while since we were last out there and I think it's all changed a bit.

Tyrone Mall in St Petes - not far from Treasusre Island has Maceys, JCPenneys, Dillards and Sears. Lots of other smaller stores too. Tip for you if you go to maceys - go to their Customer Service desk and if you show them your passport they willgive you a discount card giving you 11% off their already discounted prices, excludes cosmetics and perfumes. I picked up a full outfit for wedding - dress, wrap, shoes and bag for less than $100.

'Florida' Mall in Orlando.

Florida Mall is a good 90 mins drive from Treasure Island. Ellenton Outlet Mall in St Petersburg would be about 15 miles from Treasure Island - great range of shops there. Also you will be near enough to Clearwater and they have a good range of shops. This is Treasure Island in Pinellas County we are talking about I presume!

ah just read you are going back to Orlando then yes Florida Mall is excellent.

Would second Tyrone Mall in St Petes having been there as well.

When in Orlando would suggest you pay a visit to the Florida Mall, Mall at Millenia (there is also a SuperTarget opposite) and the Vineland Premium Outlets mall. That should cover it!.
