Hi
Going to Tenerife next Friday woth dd 21 months.

Tips to entertain her on the plane please 7am flight for 4 hours.

Pacing essentials tips would be most welcome also thanks.

I am looking forward to it, but also secretly dreading, as I am a little stressed about going with a 21month old.

Help

Thanks x

For flight, - book and small pack crayons, few little books that she can point to pics and name things, her fav soft toy, lots and lots and lots of little snacks. Oh and your imagination and patience!

Packing - well the best thing I took for DD1 was her plastic teapot and a couple of plastic cups for making me tea with the pool or sea water. Was a lot more popular than bucket and spade.

Portable DVD player so that you can give your imagination a break for a short while!

Take her for walks up and down the aisles occasionally (we play a game of find daddy when we do this - bugs the hell out of other passengers probably though)

Magnetic drawing board good, stickers etc.

Oh yes and my latest flight entertainment trick is to hide a toy that he likes a lot(but not an absolute fave like his teddy -that would cause a tantrum if it disappeared) and then he is reunited with it on the plane.

We did Tenerife flight with ds at exactly the same age - it was our first flight over 1.5 hours and to be honest it was absolutely fine (apart from he didn't sleep a wink on the way back when I wanted him to and we didn't land til after midnight!)
