Corfu/Paxos in July

Hi all,

Redirected existing (unused) Easy Jet flights to Corfu next July. Would like to go to Paxos or other islands around.

Then panicked - will it be unbearably hot?

It will be lovely.

Went went to Corfu in August this year. It was a lovely temperature. Hot, but not unbearably so. We’d love to do paxos or antipaxos next time we visit. They look amazing!

PiperPiper20 · 14/11/2020 10:48

What is Paxos like? I've never been.

Mixingitall · 15/11/2020 17:38

It’s lovely and little with some nice bays. Lakka is very busy with day trippers. I also really like Parga, which is on Lefkada (flights to Preveza) and a similar distance to Paxos from Corfu Town.

We've been 2 years in a row to Paxos & we love it!
As a family what we look for in a great holiday is beautiful beaches , few tourists, great food especially fish & friendly welcoming locals , you get all of that in Paxos!
If you go include a day trip to Anti Paxos, it's amazing with the most gorgeous restaurant right on the beach!
This year we were thinking of spending a few days in Leftkada.
Has anyone been recently & would they recommend it?
We were thinking of catching the ferry from Paxos to Leftkada? Has anyone done that?
Wink

I’ve been to Parga and Sivota, both are beautiful.

Good2Goooooo · 08/02/2021 13:05

Hi ,

Is Sivota in Leftkada?
What do you like about Parga to?
Many Thanks,

Claire

Parga has a curved coast line with lovely restaurants and shops. It’s not too busy but has lots going on. Google images of Parga and have a look. Lots of small places to stay and no large hotels.

I went last August it was really hot
Too hot to be walking around in the day
My feet were on fire
Maybe july will be slightly cooler than August
