Protaras or Paphos?

Hi! Anyone stayed at either Olympic Lagoon in Paphos (half term week) before? About to book but worried it might be a bit hectic so considering Columbia beach resort in Pissouri or Sunruse Pearl in Protaras. Any personal recommendations would be hugely appreciated 👍😎

Thanks for this! So you would say Paphos then? Have heard new he’s nicer is Protaras but more going on in Paphos

I lived in Pissouri for years. Columbia is great and the village of Pissouri is a lot nicer/more chocolate boxy than Paphos which can seem big and soulless in comparison. You would need a car (or taxis would be cheap) to go from hotel to the village for dinners etc as the hill is a killer to walk. Protaras is mostly just hotels so nothing much in terms of 'local feel'. You could be anywhere. Pissouri feels Cypriot and the people are lovely, esp great with kids. God I miss it!

OP if you made it to Cyprus I hope you've already left - Cyprus has just been added to the quarantine list from this Sunday

@porger80 I know Pissouri quite well, worked there for over a year until recently
